Have myasthenia gravis, or know someone who has it? Myasthenia gravis (MG) is a chronic autoimmune neuromuscular disease that causes weakness in the skeletal muscles, which are responsible for breathing and moving parts of the body, including the arms and legs.
HealthAlliance Hospital has a monthly support group for people with MG. The group provides support, education and mutual aid. It meets in the 2nd floor conference room of HealthAlliance Hospital: Broadway Campus, 396 Broadway in Kingston, from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on the second Saturday of each month. Family members are welcome to attend. Lambert-Eaton myasthenic syndrome patients are also welcome.
